1. Introduction
These terms of use (“Terms”) govern the use of BlueSearch and related services provided by:

By using BlueSearch you accept these terms.
If you are using the service on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have the authority to bind the business.
2. Description of the service
BlueSearch is an AI-based search service delivered as Software-as-a-Service (SaaS). The service enables searches in:
Websites
Documents
Internal knowledge bases
Integrated third-party systems
The service uses artificial intelligence provided by third-party providers (including OpenAI).
BluePaper reserves the right to improve, update or change the service.
3. Account and access
The user is responsible for:
Providing correct information
To protect their login details
All activity that occurs through the account
BluePaper may suspend or terminate accounts by:
Violation of the terms
Illegal use
Security risk
Abuse of the system
4. Google OAuth and third-party authentication
If you use Google Login or other third-party authentication:
Do you provide us with limited access to account information as per your consent?
You can revoke access at any time through your Google Account.
We only use data in accordance with the Google API Services User Data Policy.
We do not use Google data for advertising or resale.
5. User responsibilities
You undertake not to:
Using the Service in violation of applicable law
Uploading illegal, infringing, or copyrighted material without rights
Attempt to reverse engineer or compromise the system
Overloading the infrastructure
Using the service for automated scraping without an agreement
You are responsible for ensuring that uploaded data is processed legally.
6. Intellectual property rights
6.1 BluePaper's rights
All rights to:
Software
Code
Architecture
Design
Algorithms
Documentation
belongs to BluePaper AS or its licensors.
No rights are transferred beyond limited use rights.
6.2 Customer rights
The customer retains all rights to:
Own content
Own documents
Own data
BluePaper is only entitled to use data to the extent necessary to provide the service.
7. Artificial intelligence - limitation of liability
BlueSearch uses generative AI.
The user understands and accepts that:
AI-generated responses may contain errors
Results must be quality assured before use
BluePaper does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or suitability
The service is provided "as is".
8. Availability
BluePaper strives for high availability, but does not guarantee:
Uninterrupted operation
Flawless functionality
Continuous availability from third-party providers
In the event of maintenance or technical problems, the service may be temporarily unavailable.
9. Payment and subscription
For paid subscriptions:
Invoicing in advance
Payment deadline 14 days
No refunds once the period has begun
Automatic renewal if not cancelled.
Failure to pay may result in suspension.
10. Data processing and privacy
Personal data is processed in accordance with:

Data processing agreement (for B2B)
GDPR
The user is the controller of data uploaded to the service.
11. Confidentiality
The parties undertake to:
Treat confidential information strictly confidentially
Do not disclose information without legal basis
This also applies after termination of the agreement.
12. Limitation of Liability
BluePaper is not responsible for:
Indirect losses
Lost profits
Data loss due to errors by third-party providers
Improper use of the service
User uploaded content
Total liability is limited to the amount paid in the last 12 months.
13. Termination
The user can cancel the service at any time.
BluePaper may terminate the service by:
Material default
Illegal use
Non-payment
Upon termination, data will be deleted or returned in accordance with the agreement.
14. Changes to the Terms
BluePaper may update the terms and conditions.
Users will be notified of any significant changes.
Further use after modification is considered acceptance.
15. Applicable law and venue
The agreement is governed by Norwegian law.
Disputes are resolved amicably.
If agreement is not reached, the dispute will be decided by:
